We're Here to Listen
Michele Band graduated from Loyola University with a Master's degree in Theology and Marriage and Family, I focus on individuals impacted by addiction, infidelity, relational crisis and trauma. I have been a Program Director in a jail offering substance abuse treatment and a CEO and Clinical Director of a domestic violence center. As a federal government researcher, I developed an addiction curriculum used in treatment centers across the country and have been a featured therapist on the Oprah Network. I sincerely believe in and support long term recovery from addiction and trauma. Both my husband and I embrace a sober lifestyle.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

I focus on individuals, couples and families dealing with addiction and trauma. I have advanced training and certification as a Sex Addiction Therapist and Supervisor. I am deeply commited to supporting the healing and growth of individuals and families that are struggling with addiction with the most effective treatment options.
I integrate evidenced based treatment models with a spiritually/faith based understanding of change and growth. Helping stabilize the immediate crisis becomes a priority in order to establish recovery and healing. Treatment goals related to addiction/trauma that limit the emotional, spiritual, physical and relational well being are established first.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. EMDR, DBT.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
